A good idea, considering the fact that it accomplishes no good just letting the stuff lie around uselessly adding harmful toxic gases and radiation to its immediate environment. At least when it is being used to suppliment our energy needs it's being more closely monitored and its being reduced even more so that it leaves behind less harmful waste for us to deal with.
We should be making the most of our resources, rather than wasting them, especially if they generate income, fund education, and make our environment safer.
